Welcome to Mardi Gras!

On February. 10th, residents at Livingston Hills got together to celebrate Mardi Gras in style. With the dining hall decked out in the traditional gold, green and purple colors, residents enjoyed delicious Jambalaya made by the Activities Department. It was a wonderful treat, and everyone loved it.

Both residents and staff got in the spirit and had fun wearing their Mardi Gras masks, beads, and feather boas. A great time was had by all and we thank our Activities team for making it extra special.

Superbowl Sunday at Livingston Hills

Football fans at Livingston Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center enjoyed watching Super Bowl 50 during the rehab center’s party earlier this week. The dining room was decorated in blue and orange, the team colors of the Panthers and Broncos respectively. Residents could choose which side to sit on as they cheered for their team throughout the game.

A selection of food and beverages were available, and a few games were played as well, including a ring toss game. In the end, the Broncos won and while no New York teams made the Super Bowl this year, everyone who came to the Livingston Hills Super Bowl party had a fun time.
