Yesterday was National Pumpkin Day, and with the help of our Activities Department, Livingston Hills residents decorated a number of pumpkins to prepare for Halloween. Some residents used stickers to create faces while our Director of Activities, Chris, helped to hallow out and carve the larger pumpkins. With that we were all ready for Halloween and our upcoming party!
Earlier this April, residents at Livingston Hills planted flowers in small cups that were kept indoors. Now, they have grown tremendously and have been moved to our special outdoor garden which has been named Andrea’s Garden in memory of a resident who passed away. A plaque will be added to the wood frame of the garden later this year.
This month we are displaying artwork from Hudson City schools at Livingston Hills. Awards will be given out and announced in the near future. We thank these students for sharing their talents with us and allowing our residents to enjoy their work.
Today, residents at Livingston Hills put their creativity to the test. When given duct tape, they were able to make wallets and other creative items.
On March 3rd, residents at Livingston Hills rolled up their sleeves and got to work creating wearable art.
As they tie dyed T-shirts, residents enjoyed mixing colors together to turn a plain white shirt into a colorful masterpiece.
Livingston Hills held their first annual Spring Fling Craft Fair. A lot of community members came to enjoy the fun crafts and refreshments.
