EMS Team of the Year
Livingston Hills Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Recognition Ceremony
for the EMS Team of the Year
Livingston, NY, December 20, 2017– Livingston Hills Nursing & Rehabilitation Center are recognizing two candidates for their outstanding teamwork while providing services to a patient in need, on December 20th, 2017 with a small ceremony.
“We are excited to have our first annual recognition ceremony for the EMS team of the year. We have observed their teamwork as they enter the facility during and emergency and it was outstanding, thus we want to recognize them for what they have done and are still doing.”
We are very excited to host a small ceremony for Kasey Simmons and Susan Baker who have shown outstanding performance of teamwork, professionalism, and compassion. We have worked closely with these two professionals on a few occasions. Each and every time has been a success of two entities working together for one common goal without bravado or hesitation.

Yesterday was National Pumpkin Day, and with the help of our Activities Department, Livingston Hills residents decorated a number of pumpkins to prepare for Halloween. Some residents used stickers to create faces while our Director of Activities, Chris, helped to hallow out and carve the larger pumpkins. With that we were all ready for Halloween and our upcoming party!
In continuing a new tradition that has begun at Livingston Hills, members of our staff, along with family members and other supporters, participated in this year’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk which took place on Oct. 15th in Washington Park in Albany.
Team members sported Livingston Hills’ custom made pink sweatshirts and are continuing to do their part to raise awareness. So far, Team Livingston has raised $500 and is still working to raise funds throughout the month. As part of their fundraiser, they are selling shirt. If you’re interested in purchasing one or making a donation, please contact Livingston Hills today.
